The Tata LPO 1515/55 BS4 is an intercity and stage carriage bus built to deliver on long-distance efficiency, ride comfort, and fleet profitability. Powered by the proven 5.9L Cummins ISBe BS4 Common Rail Diesel Engine, this bus generates an output of 160 PS at 2500 rpm and a powerful torque of 600 Nm of torque.

Equipped with Tata G600 6-speed with Overdrive Gearbox and a robust 352 mm single-plate clutch, the LPO 1515/55 offers smooth gear transitions and reduced drivetrain stress over extended routes. With a gradeability of 23%, the vehicle is well-suited for a variety of terrain and topography, from state highways to hilly roads.

Built on a Ladder-type Heavy-duty Chassis Frame with Riveted and Bolted Cross Members, this vehicle offers better structural integrity and high load endurance. 

The bus is equipped with a Dual-circuit Full Air S-cam Braking System, delivering consistent stopping power even under full passenger load. With a 250-litre Fuel Tank, the Tata LPO 1515/55 is designed to go farther with fewer stops, making it a reliable workhorse for intercity fleet operators.
